The daily newspaper “News Gazette” published a new interview with The Henningsens, that you can read fully on their website here. It’s a very interesting article, so we leave you with a excerpt bellow:
Brian and the older sons farm roughly 1,800 acres at their longtime family farm in Douglas County — compare the music business to farming.
There’s a lot of uncertainty. And ups and downs. One musician might view a song as a potential hit. Another doesn’t.
“You never know,” Aaron said.
He has hopes for “Prayer Chain,” a song the Henningsens penned that was recorded by the gospel group HighroadIII on its album “Angel at the Crossroads,” released in March.
Brian and Aaron also have big dreams for another song they wrote, “The House.” A big-name artist will record it; the Henningsens can’t yet say who.
The family trio is now writing and recording songs for their debut album, expected to be released later this year on the Arista Nashville label.
“It’s a work in progress,” Brian said. “We have plenty of tracks. We’re waiting for the right time …”
“To release it,” Aaron said.
Last year, The Henningsens released an EP, or a four-track extended play recording. The EP tracks “American Beautiful” and “I Miss You” did really well on MusicRow and other country-music charts.
This Friday The Henningsens will be doing their first facebook chat, at 6pm, and if you join this chat you might be chosen to have a private video chat at Opry’s backstage. Have you thought of what you ask them yet? (if you can’t make it you can leave your questions on our facebook and we will try to ask them).
Also, if haven’t got your tickets to The Henningsens’ next week show at Opry, on April 22nd, you can get them here.
