  Our Family Christmas

  Carol of the Bells (Medley)+ Interview and Live Chat  
 

During this past week, Taste of Country exclusive premiered Carol of Bells, from the upcoming The Henningsens’ Christmas album, “Our Family Christmas”. The album is set to be released on November, 17th, and will be available on iTunes, Amazon and The Henningsens official site.

 

Happy Birthday, Brian HenningsenWe also, would like to wish a happy belated birthday and a very blessed year to Brian, that celebrated his birthday past monday.

 

On the day following the debut of “Our Family Christmas”, The Henningsens will host a live chat and perform some songs to raise awareness to “The Salvation Army”:

“Doing The Most Good.” In these four words, our mission – to feed, to clothe, to comfort, to care. To rebuild broken homes and broken lives. By walking with the addicted, we can lead them to recovery. In fighting hunger and poverty, we can feed and nurture the spirit.   “Our Family Christmas” – The Henningsens first holiday album!  
 

TH_OFC_5x5_RGBThe wait is over: The Henningsens will release first holiday album, Our Family Christmas, on November 17!

Produced by brothers Preston and Spencer Dalton, the 10-song digital release finds family collaborating with family, with The Henningsens (siblings Clara and Aaron and their father Brian) offering renditions of eight seasonal favorites and two Henningsens originals.

The album opens with the fun of the sweet and sprightly “Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Baby Jesus,” written by Aaron Henningsen, Dave Brainard, and Tim Jackson, and inspired by Aaron’s young son, Wesley.

Our Family Christmas also includes the all-new, Aaron Henningsen-penned “Christmas Kissin’,” featuring country hitmaker Jerrod Niemann creating musical sparks alongside Clara Henningsen’s warm and expressive vocals.

In crafting their first holiday collection, Brian Henningsen says, “We really wanted to make it very traditional in the songs and the melodies, but a lot of our arrangements are new, modern, cool arrangements.”

The Henningsens were featured on Country Weekly September 22nd issue, you can see it on the gallery. We you like to send a very special thank you to Paloma for sending us these scans.

Recently, The Henningsens announced they’re releasing their Christmas album this year and it shall feature Jerrod Nieman (source).

During their last performance at the Grand Ole Opry, they stated that they’re also working on their debut album and it will feature Down.

The Henningsens will be performing at Music With a Mission on Sunday, October 12th (source) and they will be kicking the 20th annual Lighted Holiday Parade on November 22nd (source).

Lastly, as part of their partnership with Sue Bee Honey, The Henningsens performed at Sioux Honey Association in Sioux City on September, 15th. You can see photos here and read report here and here. Today Aaron Henningsen turns 32, we would like to wish him a blessed and happy birthday. You can congratulate him on twitter or on facebook.

Also, On August 29th The Henningsens performed at the Grand Ole Opry and sang American Beautiful and Jesus or a Bullet. During the introduction the presenter announced that they have been working on a Christmas album, so let’s hope we get more news soon.
